Recurrent yeast infections???

I had thrush right after surgery. Every month right before my period I have been getting a yeast infection. It is driving me crazy. I have tried AZO yeast, etc. I eat yogart everyday. Does anyone else have this problem?

Just before my cycle starts sometimes it feels like I am getting a one---I think it is the hormone surge.  I wait it out sometimes and the symptoms go away- I use left over itch cream on the outer parts if it gets really bad....but usually it goes away as my cycle concludes.  But if you are experiencing full out ones you should definitely consult ur GYN..I definitely empathize- I used to get them with any change, bleach in hotel sheets, increasing my carbs, stress, antibiotics for anything, it sucks...Sorry and I hope you get to the bottom of it soon.  Oh- and I added probotics when I think one might creep in.

Um...you need to have your husband treated also. Men are carriers and usually don't have any symptoms. He is giving it back to you during intercourse.

His PCP or your gyn should be able to give him a tablet or some ointment to rub on the opening of his penis and that will fix you both right up,promise.

I never had another yest infection after I had my DH treated.
